Tools (will be used): Java, JSF, Hibernate, MySQL, Eclipse, and XACML.  Security of WebGoat using Modsecurity This was our pre Thesis activity, in which I have protected WebGoat (java based vulnerable website deployed on Apache Server on Windows 8 platform) by using Modsecurity rules only. In this I have adopted whitelist approach to protect all the attacks (SQL injection, Cross Site Scripting (XSS), data tampering, etc.) related to input validation.  Synchronous and Secure Chat Application This was task provided as a pre-thesis work which was successfully completed. This was a secure chat app in which I implement both Symmetric Key Encryption (for transfer of secret session key for onward secure chat) and Asymmetric Key Encryption (for secure chat) using java crypto libraries in Eclipse.  Secure Cloud Simulator (secCloudSim) (Accepted in 10th International Conference on Information Security, 2014, China) In this project, I have simulated existing clouds (Amazon EC2, S3, and Eucalyptus) on iCanCloud simulator which is based on OMNET++. I have intergrated our security module (secCloudSim) for authentication using Access Control List (ACL). Tools: iCanCloud, OMNET++ 4.1, and Ubuntu 12.4.  Library & Information Center I have developed an online Library system, which was deployed on LAN.
