    Project Manager (PMP), Translator

Bulgaria - Last active: 1 month ago - Tests: 3

I am a German national, living in Sofia/Bulgaria. I worked for Hewlett-Packard Netherlands from Jan.1997 to Aug. 2013. From 2006 I worked in the position of Project Manager in Knowledge Management & Strategy, in a global team. I mostly worked remotely, from my home-office, but have also travelled to many HP Locations around the globe to deliver on-site KM-tool trainings to Service engineers. I took the decision to leave HP Netherlands because I decided to move to Bulgaria permanently, after 4 years of temporary relocation to HP Bulgaria. I am PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. I am also certified Translator for English, French and German. I would be interested in a remote Project Management position in the field of Translation/Localization, which would allow me to work from my home-office in Sofia/Bulgaria most of the time (I am not opposed to travelling, should that be required).

    European Finance - Cash Collection/Accountancy

United Kingdom - Last active: 20 days ago - Tests: 3

Cash Consultancy in Europe & French Canada. Do you have difficulty using French and German language to oil your business transactions? Using these languages can help the process in getting your unpaid invoices in French and German speaking territories paid. This is where I come in. Using French and German language skills, I contact by telephone, email and letter your clients, working towards getting unpaid European/Canadian invoices paid into your bank account. I work with your ledger information, the invoice itself and client contact details to help bring the funds in, and this consultancy service is all done virtually, online. The service is not one of factoring, I do not have any physical input on the funds themselves, which are always paid direct into YOUR account. The fee for the service is as follows: 2% commission payment of the net invoice value paid upfront - with a 100% refund on failure to obtain payment back to you ; plus 2% final commission payment on the day the funds hit your bank account. The basis on which the work is done, is of a recurring nature. Cash Consultancy Europe is a service that you can use every month to aid your cashflow in your business.Especially in those, sometimes tricky markets, where language skills can be a real asset in creating beneficial relationships with your European French, German & Canadian French clients. My business statement is that I proactively seek a relatively small portfolio of regular recurring clients with relatively small European/Canadian ledgers. In such companies with these relatively small ledgers, it is not cost effective to employ staff to facilitate cash collection. This is a specialist linguistic - credit control service which can be very useful for the development of your international company - whatever your level of business transactions with overseas territories...........Contact me today for more information

    Freelance Translator. English-Dutch & v.v., English-German & v.v.

Netherlands - Last active: 18 days ago - Tests: 8

I am a Dutch freelance translator, based in the Netherlands, who has a business background and a profound knowledge of German and English. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Economics from the Amsterdam School of Business (H.E.S.). These studies included an exchange programme with the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft in Dortmund (Germany) and the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Toulon (France) as well as a job placement / intern at Coral Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium (England): one semester each. After this degree I obtained certificates for courses of the French language (in Holland) and the Spanish language (twice in Costa Rica and once in Spain). As a Customer Service Representative / Marketing Assistant / Sales’ Support Representative I worked at international companies based in the Netherlands for almost twenty years. In order to “quench my thirst for languages” I started as a freelance translator in April 2015. I translate from German into Dutch as well as from English into Dutch. I am also available for correction and revision of translations and articles in Dutch, English and German. As for my experience as a translator / reviser: occasionally I had the opportunity to correct concept catalogues and brochures (English and German) for the companies I worked at. This past winter I partly translated two literature books: from French into Dutch and from German into Dutch. These translations will not be published: they were translated for practising purposes only. Apart from translating and revising I am available for temporary assignments as a Customer Service Representative / Marketing Assistant / Sales’ Support Representative when English, French and / or German (and possibly Dutch) are needed. Please contact me for any further details. Thank you.
