Branch Manager at Freedom English Conversation School
Last active: 1 month ago
I am a hardworking, highly adaptable, and charismatic individual that looks forward to working in a position that gives me the opportunity to interact with professionals in need of interpretation, translation, and proofreading assistance.
I am a native English speaker, my parents immigrated to America from Colombia, so I also speak Spanish. I studied French throughout grade school and studied abroad through the Rotary International Program just outside of Paris from 2006-2007.
I spent my junior year of college studying abroad at International Christian University in Tokyo (unfortunately my time was cut short by the March 11th earthquake) and received my Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from Middlebury College in 2012.
Since receiving my degree, I have been working as branch manager at Freedom English Conversation School in Ibaraki, Japan. As branch manager, I create and teach lessons to students of all ages and levels, from babies to cram school English teachers and even bilingual students. I am also social media savvy. I created and currently maintain Freedom's Facebook page by posting educational content for our students. And I have proofread hundreds of pages worth of Japanese graduate student papers and theses.
I look forward to working with you!
