Editor-in-Chief at Lovecars, auto writer, journalist, SEO copywriter
Currently, I am editor-in-chief of Lovecars.com, an automotive social hub where users will soon be able to rate, review or browse cars from one of the largest and most complete databases available. We’re currently in our pre-launch campaign and are ramping up content creation on the blog to bring our audience the latest automotive news and reviews while covering the latest car-related events and auto shows.
I am also the lead staff writer, columnist and photographer for The Tecumseh Herald, a small-town, local newspaper where I cover city government, local school districts, hard news and investigative pieces while writing features about local businesses and personalities. I also cover breaking news events with fast, accurate and well-written copy while snapping photographs for print and online publication.
Formerly, I worked at Car and Driver magazine in multiple capacities over my three-year career there, including blog writing, WordPress management, search engine optimization, social media campaigning and YouTube management.
During my freelance career, I have written for The Eastern Echo as a columnist, and life and news reporter, and for the county newspaper covering high school sports.
I received my professional start in automotive writing at High Gear Media, Inc. I later joined Revvolution.com as a contributing writing where I covered the automotive tuner market and 2015 North American International Auto Show while honing my writing skills and wit.
I have extensive interviewing and investigative skills allowing me to fashion well written, deep-diving and engaging articles. In 2008, I started my own automotive news blog, and I have been writing about the auto industry ever since.
I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in creative writing from Eastern Michigan University.
