Experience extends from CEO and Apple Developer of Unity game engine based games company, Creative Designer/Director in the advertising field, Editor/Art Director of Science Fiction publications through Industrial Design, Theatrical Costume and Stage Set Design to most aspects of Web Design and implementation. Have a full skill set in all multimedia formats and have been behind as well as in front of the camera, have recorded top 10 musical outfits and played onstage in a number of musical outfits from The North American Gypsy Theatre to several Hard Rock and Neo Classical stage bands. I am a self-starter and what I do not know I will find out about and study till I digest what I need. I am very quick once I know the direction I need to head. Currently a 3D and Special Effects Technical Director, Digital Cinema Imaging Technician, Concept Artist and Creative Director, Unity game engine and Apple developer Mr Blain has over 30 years experience in all facets of the entertainment, game and web technologies programming and arts fields. An award winning science fiction and fantasy artist, trained in Renaissance and Baroque techniques of The Italian and Dutch Masters, his eye for detail, a penchant for digesting the latest cutting edge tools and technologies, the ability to translate imaginative vision into completed works, as well as managing large projects with little oversight necessary has landed him a diverse range of projects over the years. Having started in the field at 14 as a Junior Sci Fi Editor for Penguin Books in Toronto, Canada, he studied Illustration at The New School For Social Research in NYC, after having danced off Broadway and being involved with a performance troupe whose founding members went on to become the first Cirque de Soleil cast. He then was Art Director for a sci fi magazine called "Aura", prior to moving to Atlanta in 1982 where he became Ted Turner's Art Director for Turner Outdoor and later produced the TNT logo as that network started up. Mr. Blain has produced,recorded and engineered soundtracks, albums and songs for local and national artists in his Sound Studio since 1984. He did all of the preproduction renders, stage light plots, mechanical puppets miniatures and designed the full sized (45 foot eagle) puppets and 80 foot revolving stage with 60 foot video screens, as well as producing a hard bound limited to one edition book for Prince Abdul of Saudi Arabia of the entire concert storyboards and renders for the cancelled Michael Jackson "Ones" tour. In the mid to late 80's Mr. Blain was art director, script polisher and sculptor for Fantasy Factory Productions out of Atlanta. He was involved with latex appliance, set building and decoration and fake blood sfx as well as any artwork, storyboards or collaterals needed. In the 90's Mr Blain was the Project manager and Lead Artist on The Great Fish sculpture in Buckhead ( The Southeast's largest freestanding statue with 10.5 tonnes of .999 fine coper cladding it in over 2700 hand pounded scales ad 3600 pieces of hand cut copper foil.) This work landed him the contract with Coca Cola for the Coca Cola Olympic City Icon Tower, a monster at 175 tonnes and 167 feet tall. He was also the hand behind several other well known Atlanta landmarks or statues, as well as many custom architectural installs for top restaurants and corporate lobbies. Since 2000 Mr Blain has concentrated his studies and expertise on the then emerging 3D and digital cinema fields keeping abreast of ongoing developments and tools, the use of various softwares and the implementation of various 3D, compositing, special effects and color grading pipelines. He has also released several games on iOS and desktop and web platforms and developed several cutting edge custom components for the Unity game engine for various clientele. Mr. Blain as well has much performance experience as a frontman and composer/songwriter for several bands, has had supporting cast roles in a few movies, is a scriptwriter, and been cameraman on several dozen shoots of all kinds. He, as well, has excellent written and communication skills, deals well with clientele and vendors and offers prompt attention to issues that will arise during any large project.

I specialised in Audio / DSP and and a lot of money doing difficult contracts (such as ultrasound communication, deciphering credit card MagStripe data, pitch detection, etc) Two years ago I learned Unity3D, and learned how to write shaders in GL / CG.
