() I know how to use the match types according to different types of scenario like: for small budget I use exact and either tight modified broad match or phrase match keywords to have more control over ad serving.
For larger budgets and for finding new keywords through the Search Query report, I include some modified broad match, and possibly even broad match, keywords along with the other match types.
() When creating display campaigns, I focus on one targeting method per ad group, such as one topic, one interest, or one flexible method such as placements plus topics. It is useful to use only one targeting method per campaign for organizational purposes. I do not worry about match types for display keywords; they are ignored for the Display Network.
