Web Research | Internet Research Specialist
Back in 1998, in their research paper "The Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hypertextual Web Search Engine", Google founders Larry Page and Sergei Brin called it "the art of web research". Hopefully, 2,000+ hours will prove my skills in this art.
My values; your ROI
I’ll now briefly outline my core values and how they benefit my clients
. Perseverance as a form of stamina. I believe that steady efforts to achieve something always pay off.
Web research can be an extraordinary challenging task. Sometimes the information/data that I'm looking for seats shining on the surface. Sometimes, it’s buried deep down. Perseverance allows me to easily endure the need to keep searching.
. Creativity helps solving problems. I believe that creativity is one of the most important free tools at our disposal.
When information/data is hard to find, I add creativity to perseverance. Creativity helps me come up with several keyword combinations, or it may as well guide me to using other search engines or even other languages, such as French or Spanish.
. Silence is king. I believe silence is as precious as gold.
One of the most striking aspects of web research lies in the fact that I’m constantly being bombarded with noise. There are many voices in the web – this is noise. But only a few are worth hearing – this is silence. I always look for silence, so, in my work, I always look for the most relevant, credible, sources.
In spite of having a long list of 'Jobs in progress', I'm currently available 5-10 hours/week.
I do not work on fixed price projects.
