In 2003 I moved into the world of development. Using the skills I had learned around brain-based research, language acquisition, and curriculum mapping I charted my own rigorous and self taught course to become a Drupal pro. Through numerous trainings, online courses, active involvement in the Drupal community, and a continuous drive to learn I have quickly developed the skills needed to deliver Drupal based solutions to clients. I learn quickly and take an ownership approach to everything that I do. If I don’t already have a solution to a problem, I will find one.
I Built over a dozen Drupal sites using CCK and Views—tons of blogs, photo galleries, slideshows, podcasts, calendars, newsletters, and more. Created as many themes, mostly Zen-based. Maintained numerous Drupal web sites, testing and applying patches and security updates, on both my own Virtual Private Server and various client shared hosting environments. Offered training and mentorship to other developers both professionally and casually. Programmed a small number of simple custom modules. Participated in the drupal.org issue queues, testing and submitting patches, and periodically in IRC
