Technical Customer Support with Digital Marketing Experience
Last active: 7 days ago
Hi there - my name is Trever. I have over 7 years experience in technical support and digital marketing. I've spent over 3 years using Zendesk, Cadre, and Desk.com to provide email/phone/social media/chat based Level 2 and 3 technical customer support. I've also managed a team of up to 10 freelancers.
Companies that I've worked for include Yahoo, Lexity, and LG Sciences. I'm a college educated native English speaker, born and bred in the Midwestern United States, and I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Marketing with a concentration in New Media and Digital Marketing.
Ideally, I'm looking for a full time position providing technical customer support for an app or solution in the digital marketing space.
Here's what I can do for you:
-Technical Customer Support and Account Management
Before I began working for myself, I spent 5 years as a Microsoft/Cisco network admin. I understand both networking and web-based technology, and I can provide friendly, detailed technical support, with an eye toward additional sales and revenue generation.
-Digital Marketing Management
In running my own businesses and consulting for various others, I've worn a lot of hats. From brand storytelling and PPC management, to SEO, Social Media marketing and content generation, I can probably help with whatever you're looking for.
I'm a power user. I don't do much development, but I'm very experienced with running and maintaining WP sites and can do just about anything else related to WP and WP based web design. As an example, I recently built BehindTheMitten.com.
-Social Media Community Management
I built my previous employer's highly engaged Facebook community from scratch. When I left, they had 4,000 fans and were seeing 500 referrals from FB per week.
Proficient in managing both white and grey hat SEO. (I prefer mostly white hat with a little bit of grey to make things interesting. No black hat.) I won't do bulk link building (It no longer works well, and if you still want it for some reason, you can pay someone $2 an hour), but pretty much anything else is fair game.
-Conversion Optimization and Web Analytics
I'm a geek for this stuff, and I love reading about the emerging "best practices" in this field that can mean the difference between making sales or having visitors screaming for the "back button".
Have a team of low end VAs from developing countries? Let me manage them for you. I've managed up to 10 VAs at a time for myself and my previous employers, keeping them productive and on track.
Does it involve Web Business? I've probably done it, or can quickly learn it. Feel free to contact me, and we can discuss items outside of those listed.
