I am a 25 year old Scottish law graduate. My legal education is invaluable to me when I am proofreading as it has given me the fine attention to detail skills required to accurately pinpoint mistakes in writing. My writing experience enables me to grasp a better picture of what the writer is trying to portray when I am proofreading which in turn allows me to easily make the writing flow. I have wide-ranging proofreading experience, across a variety of topics and formats. I have also successfully completed several legal writing and website content projects. I have a TEFL course (120 hours) from Chiang Mai University. I have experience teaching both children and adults. I also have online teaching experience, both through a company and private students. Legal research, Article writing

Thank you for taking an interest in my profile. I graduated law school in 2008 with a goal of becoming a civil litigator, possibly in family law, although I was very interested in criminal and immigration laws, too. I was willing to enter any legal discipline when I experienced a near fatal stroke that left me unable to walk or speak clearly. None of my memories or cognition were compromised. I am able to do anything online, but I cannot speak clearly over the telephone. If an employer prefers to speak with me over the phone I can talk, but regular phone contact with clients is not possible. I am willing to work through the night if you require a fast turnaround time, but ordinarily I require about three days depending on the complexity of the issue. Working at home is easiest for me because I cannot drive or do many of the other things that are required to work outside of the home. I have recently decided I have not just lost everything; I have a great education and mind and I owe it to myself to use it. Just because I cannot pace back and forth giving a closing statement does not mean I should do nothing. My dreams are less grand than they were before, I want to be proud of my work and I want my employers to be satisfied. I will work as hard as I can because I want to begin working as soon as possible and cultivate long term relationships where possible with employers. I have unrivaled honesty and integrity; I am very proud of those qualities so I will never submit work that I am not proud to call my own.

    Expert Editor and Writer

    Pakistan - Tests: 1 - Portfolio: 3

I am a writer not a fighter! I also am a Pakistani, having lived as an expat in Australia and Saudi Arabia. I used to edit academic papers for my dad (who is an academic) but I thought now is the time to get paid for doing what I do best which is being particularly finicky about grammar, punctuation and spelling. I am a Law student and an ex-Literature student which means that writing is kind of my forte (even if nothing else is). So in conclusion (of this extremely unprofessional sell), if you are thinking of someone to fulfill your writing and editing needs, perhaps, I might be the one you want.
