I am reliable. I have designed, built, and tested dozens of web applications (sites) and web businesses, as a full-stack developer, technical architect and CTO.
I have deep experience in implementing highly complex business logic, for example, complex sets of underwriting rules, workflow applications involving legal chains of custody, complex data validation rules and statistical programming including regression model development and data visualization. These systems that I have designed and built have run billions of dollars of financial transactions in the insurance and financial services industries.
I have deployment experience on Heroku, Engine Yard, Amazon EC2 and other Amazon Web Services, and on custom server configurations built from the data center floor up.
I actually get projects done on time and on budget.
I am a veteran financial services system developer and architect. I was with Accenture for 8 years in their technical architecture skill track, in the financial services consulting group, and built numerous systems in finance, banking, and insurance. I worked on systems for JP Morgan, State Farm Insurance, American General Group, and many other financial service firms. I was a firm expert in transactional risk systems that performed real-time evaluation of risk and performed real-time risk decisioning.
In 2007, I worked on Lehman Brothers automated mortgage underwriting system. Wasn't enough to save them from themselves (I have many good stories from that one!).
Since 2007 I have owned my own development shop which has at times had up to three developers but as of this year is just made up of just myself.
I am located in Oklahoma City, OK.
I have developed iPhone applications and designed and built a iPhone mobile ecommerce framework for a startup similar to Uber (which was a little too early in 2009).
I know CSS3 but I am not a UX designer. I have experience in responsive CSS3 frameworks.
I am willing to travel up to 25% for the right project.
