Broker-dealer, New York The client had a very complex requirement and needed to track interactions between different parties within the business and externally. This project was a day or so a week over a few months, assisting the client in building up and testing their Salesforce system and adding value, ensuring the focus was business intelligence and powerful reporting capabilities. Media Company, UK This project was a data project; the client imported and exported over 100k records per month and needed guidance and assistance in setting Salesforce up as well as looking at 3rd party applications that could ensure the data processes were simple yet stable and flexible. It initially lasted a few weeks, with on-going support being requested. Manufacturer, New Zealand The client needed a new Salesforce account being setup and created for their US office that was similar to a current setup in their New Zealand office. This was a slightly technical project where I worked with the client to understand the needs of the US office and then build their system using the original NZ system as a guide. Working at a start up provided me with an amazing opportunity to be exposed to all of the aspects of starting and running a business. I was involved in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, and any other item that needed to be addressed. It was exciting learning something new, applying it, and directly impacting the company. A lot of time and effort, including competing in the Chicago Lean Start Up Challenge 2014, went into trying to make WASOKO.co a success. But ultimately it has been something that has been put on hold due to unforeseen circumstances. Prior to PhoenixVenturz, I had an internship in London U.K. This has become one of the most valuable learning experiences I have had to date. I worked for a non-profit football academy called Footsteps Trust. At Footsteps I completed an analysis on the correlation between attendance, ethnicity, etc with grades achieved. I also completed several Marketing projects in order to promote the organization at industry events. I was also able to assist in creating the next fiscal year budget and sit in on executive meetings discussing business strategy. My biggest takeaway from this experience was the importance of multicultural teams with the world growing smaller by the day.
