Lisa is expert at taking an individual's or company's mission and translating it for the marketplace. Her expertise includes public relations, media outreach, consumer brands, communications, news and feature writing, blogging, event management, project management, and marketing communications for international brands and nonprofits alike.
She's directed PR & marketing campaigns for some of the world's largest and most recognizable brands, including GNC, SmithKlein Beecham, and RiteAid, as well as to international nonprofit initiatives on behalf of the Tribeca Film Festival, Carnegie Mellon University and The Andy Warhol Museum. And she's also worked with authors, fitness entrepreneurs, technology startups, and independent consulting agencies to develop branded materials.
Her industry experience is concentrated in education, the arts, women's health & wellness, technology, and organic products.
She is also an RYT-certified yoga instructor, and a freelance writer and blogger whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Salon.com, Budget Travel, as well as in her own memoir, Hello American Lady Creature: What I Learned as a Woman in Qatar (Greenpoint Press, 2014).
