Microcontroller developer

As a microcontroller developer, I consider myself a proactive and purposing professional, focused on objectives and goals. I have knowledge in Node.js platform applied to embedded processors for network applications as well as knowledge in microcontroller programming in c, c++, python and PCB designing. Talking about my academic background, I'm a graduated Electronic Engineer and current Master of Engineering student, as part of my thesis, I'm developing the data acquisition system for a ROV (remotely operate vehicle) on Arduino DUE for the low-level communication and implementing the high-level control on Beaglebone board. It will be a pleasure working with you on your projects and generate real value for you.

Russia - Tests: 3 - Portfolio: 3

Good day, sir. For the last five years I've had vast experience in: - C development for GNU/Linux with CLI and EFL GUI, including interprocess communications using UNIX sockets, pipes and a little of DBus IPC; - C++ programming for GNU/Linux with CLI and Qt GUI; I have experience with test-driven development. While programming with C++ I've used Boost.Asio, STL, multithreaded and cooperative multitasking. Also I've had experience developing embedded projects with Atmel's 8-bit MCU. These projects were intended to control a set of stepper motors and employed distributed logic to simulate air flow pressures in wind tunnel and simulate liquid flow. At this point I participate at development of the system to monitor vehicles and theirs telemetry and raise an alarm or notification in case of some event (like fueling, drain, enter/exit geo-zone) with satellite navigation technologies (GPS/GLONASS). This requires parsing of GPS/GLONASS trackers' protocols, implementing geo-mathematical algorithm, sensor data filtering, etc. Also I was involved in development of the application that used multigrids to prepare cartographic data for route-finding algorithms Currently I am learning Linux kernel and driver development. Also, I'm interested in studying analogue and digital circuitry and ARM assembly as well as networking protocols and cryptography.

PhD candidate with extensive engineering and programming experience

United States - Tests: 1

I've spent the past several years working on various advance engineering projects. Some of my relevant experience include creating a custom experimental setup to measure and quantify nonlinear elastic bending in fluid mediums. As part of this project a real time signal processing and control system was developed using Mathworks' Simulink package. I'm extremely experienced when it comes to blending high level autonomous algorithms in embedded Linux systems with low level platforms such as the Arduino. Not only have I written the programs that run on both system, but I've also design the various sensor boards that were used with the Arduino. These boards were created and EagleCad, simulated in SPICE and then sent out for production. The embeded platforms I've worked on include, Gumstix's Overo and Verdex boards, Beagleboard, Pandaboard, and Beaglebone to name a few. I've worked on several prototypes from inception, to CAD design, and to final production. Lastly I spent a month working with an unmanned airplane performing vibration analysis, in order to damped unwanted vibration.
