Reliable. Organized. Trustworthy.
For over 10 years I have been engaged in the amazing world of translation, editing, and writing. This has given me the chance to expand my knowledge across many fields, which would have otherwise been out of my reach. Some of them include: medicine, geology, geography, finance, accounting, law, and many others. The projects I have worked on vary from medical textbooks to drama plays and PhD theses.
My motto is "Never stop learning", which is why I have chosen the field of writing, translation, and editing as my field of work.
Here are what my clients say of me and my work:
“A pleasure to work with” - Flodschi, Elance client;
“Very professional.” - annaruseva, Elance client;
"Vladimir is a highly qualified translator, reliable and hardworking person; cooperative and loyal..." - Nevena Krasteva, ICU Publishing
" Very solid work." - Manol Peykov, Janet 45 Print and Publishing
I offer translation, editing, proofreading, and writing services to all my clients.
Over the years, I have worked for the Bulgarian Golf Association; one of Bulgaria's largest and most influential publishing houses - Janet 45 Print and Publishing; and various business companies.
My level of English is testified by my Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), the most advanced qualification issued by the Cambridge University. It is complemented by my TOP 10% score in the overall English category on Elance. I have worked with English for my entire life. I am as fluent in the language as any native speaker. This allows me to provide high-quality writing services in both Bulgarian and English.
I am a Master in Social Psychology and a Bachelor in General Psychlogy. Furthermore, I have completed the course of study of the Translation and Editing master's degree in the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Bulgaria's foremost higher educational institution.
I've been part of different national and international projects. My word has been published on the Bulgarian and international market: a bilingual magazine with ISSN 1313-3837 (Golf & SPA Bulgaria). I was part of the team of translators of Malcolm Gladwell's book "What the Dog Saw" in Bulgarian (ISBN 978-954-491-978-8). I am also the translator of the critically acclaimed book by the Italian journalist Loretta Napoleoni "The Islamist Phoenix". (ISBN 978-619-186-101-9).
I also write articles for different Bulgarian newspapers and online publications. This stems from my experience as an excellent essay writer.
I win the appreciation of all my clients thanks to my relialiability when they need quick, but in the same time, accurate work. I am never afraid of deadlines, and I cannot think of a case when I have not met one.
