I consult to companies of all stages on developing business plans, strategy, accounting, finance, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships. I have over 25 years of leadership experience in private equity investment banking, software and cleantech manufacturing industries. In addition to consulting, I've been appointed CFO to several growth-stage international technology companies where I've led more than twenty capital formation rounds for companies both public and private in the US and Europe (I have expertise in complex capital structures), I've completed several M&A assignments, both buy and sell side. In addition to my activities, I'm an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where I teach in the graduate foreign service program.
I have an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a bachelors degree in Mathematics from The Citadel.
I'm on the advisory boards of ThinkGreen Global Advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on cleantech and renewable energy financings and ThomassonDacus, a marketing fiorm specializing in federal law enforcement products. I'm active in my community as a Scoutmaster and as a volunteer with Lab Rescue of Chesapeake-Potomac.
