I am not just your average chip off the old creative block. I am a designer who is used to wearing many hats. I specialize in graphic design, web design and development as well as illustration and have even dabbled in video post-production and copywriting for print and radio. As a senior designer, I have extensive experience developing highly effective direct mail campaigns, posters, banners, newsletters, logos and pretty much anything else that is thrown at me using all of the latest Adobe software. I have a complete understanding of the 4-color printing process and layout, as well as the print production workflow. I am also well versed in the latest web design standards and programs. I believe in clean, cutting-edge and compelling designs that send a clear and concise message. I have several years experience using SEO, CSS, XHTML, Javascript, Actionscript, Dreamweaver and Flash in a production environment. Nearly all of my work experience has involved completing multiple projects within tight deadlines. I am a pro at thinking and creating on the fly. I also take great pride in all the work that I do. I look at each project as a learning experience and make it a point to take something of value away from every project I am presented with. It is my goal to meld all of my experiences and education together into a career where I can be an integral part of an effective, creative, idea-driven team of talented designers while at the same time rolling up my own sleeves and getting dirty.

Communication is the most important skill needed for any job. My primary objective is to effectively communicate with my employer to make sure we both understand what is expected of both of us. Secondly, I strive to use my creativity to wow my employer. I have experience designing to a brief as well as coming up with ideas on my own. I have had several of my stationery and card designs featured in Stationery Trends Magazine. But, although I specialize in social stationery (wedding invitations, party invitations, holiday photo cards, personalized note cards, etc.,) I have experience designing all kinds of print design products including business cards, postcards, posters, brochures, menus, newsletters, and packaging. I also have experience in designing logos, banners, blog headers, facebook covers and twitter backgrounds. I’m a very energetic person with a strong desire to succeed and also pragmatic in thinking. I have a sense of humor when the situation requires and I always see the positive side of things, I face any problem I encounter and get through it by finding solutions. With a master's degree at the Faculty of Informatics and collaborations with large companies such as Orange I have accumulated a vast experience in graphic design. If you want a serious collaboration and to receive your order in the shortest time, just contact me ! My Design Process: 1. The Brief The initial accumulation of information from the client is the most important step, please give us as many answers as you can. 2. Research After molding the design brief, getting to know your client's businesses is the next crucial step in making a successful logo. Research includes general reading on the industry itself, sometimes on its history, and on its competitors. 3. Visual Research This is research not into the clients business, but into the actual logo style. This is where we seek out a look, a style, an approach or attitude, usually in order to attain a period or style that we are unfamiliar with, or to refresh ourselves with what is new or successful. 4. Sketching & Conceptualizing Developing the logo design concept(s) is where creativity comes into play, this is where we must create the logo by using the design brief and the research conducted. 5. Reflection Taking breaks is as important as the physical research and the design brief. It is so easy to get stuck in a creative cul-de-sac and get tired of a project and this is why logo designers take breaks. By resting, your ideas mature and develop in the back of your head. 6. Positioning This is where designers choose how to work… they either position themselves like contractors or they take orders according to their clients wishes. 7. Presentations This is where we must present our work to the client. 8. Celebration Brief: What does your business do? • What does your company / organization do? • What is your company's history? What text do you want in design? What are the goals? Why? • What is the overall goal of the new design project? • What are you trying to communicate and why? • Are you trying to sell more products or get awareness of your product / service? • How do you differ from your competitors? • Do you want to completely reinvent yourself or are you simply updating your promotional material? Who is the target market? • What are your target market's demographics & Psychographics? ie. the age, gender, income, tastes, views, attitudes, employment, geography, lifestyle of those you want to reach. What are the specifications? • What size is the design going to be? • Where is it going to be printed / used? The web, business cards, stationery, on your car? • What other information should the designer know in regards to specifications? Have you got a benchmark in mind? • You should provide some examples of what you consider to be effective or relevant design even if it is from your main competitors. This will set a benchmark for me. • Please provide me with the things you do not wish me to do, and styles that you do not like or wish to see in your design. This will give me an idea of what to avoid and will avoid disappointment on your behalf. What is the time scale / deadline? • Set a realistic deadline for the completion of the work. How to choose a logo designer: 1. Experience 2. Positive Testimonials 3. A Thorough Design Process 4. A Strong Portfolio 5. Price 7. Business Professionalism 8. Appropriate Questions
