I'm a managerial engineer, but I work since 1994 in ITC fields, because of my big passion for technologies and computer sciences. I really love to be always in step with the times in all field, first of all the technology. Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by computers so much that I started programming on legacy devices, such as Commodore 64 or Spectrum Sinclair.
Even when I was a student, I started work in IT field, first as a tester and then as manager of multimedia applications testing sessions.
As soon as I became an engineer, I found a job in a Web Company (Inferentia, now FullSix) and I always work as project manager, planning web projects elapsed times, efforts and costs and managing and coordinating development teams. In this role I managed a lot of very big and complex projects, for clients like Barilla or MPS Bank.
As Project Manager, I worked in development of IT systems in various sectors: corporate, industrial, banking, government and so on, gaining an extensive experience and appreciating the best and the worst things of this kind of role.
Some projects that I've recently accomplished are:
• a web application for municipal administrations, to create manage and delivery legal acts
• a web and a mobile application for Sapio (www.grupposapio.it) to manage and control the whole process of testing and regeneration of gas containers
• a cross-platform mobile application for MPS group, that allows IB users to perform informative and dispositive banking operations on smartphone or tablet
The most projects that I've managed was developed using open source platforms and frameworks, such as Liferay, Alfresco, Aperte WF, and so on.
