Dr. Weinberg is the Founder of the Simple | Pure | WholeTM Wellness Method. She is a preventive, lifestyle and environmental medicine physician as well as an interdisciplinary yoga instructor and holistic health coach. Based on a belief that wellness needs to embrace the whole of the individual and her lifestyle and environment and look beyond just a focus on disease and acute symptoms, her mission is to empower individuals to heal themselves and live a pure, whole life through lifestyle interventions, including nutrition, physical activity, mind-body techniques and decreased toxic environmental exposures.
She is an experienced author and consultant. She also offers innovative online education programs for individuals wishing to move toward optimal health. Additionally, Dr. Weinberg works with corporations to incorporate preventive medicine and holistic lifestyle medicine approaches into corporate wellness programs as well as trains other health care providers (physicians, nurses, social workers, PAs, health coaches, etc.) in such approaches.
Dr. Weinberg has spent years following her passion for wellness in many forms and developing an appreciation for a holistic approach to healing. I specialize in living a non-toxic life; addressing autoimmune and chronic inflammatory disease; optimizing lifestyle; incorporating preventive, lifestyle and environmental health approaches into wellness, coaching and healthcare; supporting individuals and caregivers to start overcoming overwhelm, reclaim balance and reconnect with an authentic life!
I have authored several text book chapters, articles and other pieces. My work has been featured on Elephant Journal, YogaUOnline, Yahoo Voices, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and the American Medical Association's (AMA) Ethics Journal, The Global Pulse where I have also served as a theme issue editor.
