I am a recent graduate of Butler University where I received my bachelor of arts in political science and minored in strategic communications. While at Butler, I worked as a student apprentice for one of the political science department professors. As a student apprentice, I was given a year long research assignment that allowed me to strengthen my research and communication skills. I was also involved in various clubs and volunteer organizations during my time at Butler University.
I am also a recent graduate of Ivy Tech where I received my associates of science in paralegal studies. I graduated with a 3.9 and was on the Dean's List all four semesters I was in the paralegal studies program. Various courses I took were Legal Research, Civil Procedure, Tort Law, Contract Law, Commercial Law, Property Law, Legal Ethics, Litigation, Legal Writing, Law Office Technology, Medical Malpractice, Family Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, Bankruptcy Law, Employment Law, Constitutional Law and Environmental Law. I have previously worked as a legal intern in an intellectual property law firm where I researched intellectual property laws to increase protection of client’s rights. I also established legal writing and communication skills to broaden field knowledge and understanding.
