    C# .NET | SQL | Telecoms legend

United Kingdom - Last active: 12 days ago - Tests: 2

Hello and welcome to my profile, my name is Phil and I'm a British guy currently living in Honduras, (hence the competitive pricing). I hope you find something that meets your requirements. I have been programming for over 16 years and as you can imagine I have covered lots of scenarios, tools, languages and environments. My core languages are C, C#, (including ASP, MVC and the .NET framework as a whole), Java, Python, Javascript and PHP. However I use and am more than competent in C++, JQuery, Perl and VB. Databases are a major forte having as you can appreciate 90% of projects involve a database. 15 years on SQL Server up to an including 2012. Over the last 5/6 years a heck of a lot of MySql due to Microsoft's pricing on SQL. For that reason also MongoDB as a heavy duty compared to MySQL DB. Frameworks, .NET, entity framework and MVC As you can imagine in all that time have designed, developed and implemented a wide scope of projects both as an individual to part of a team. Dating, General Financial services, (credit and mortgage, insurance quotes, real estate queries). CRM and ERP (for facilities management, financial services, many call center environments, telecoms, and textile manufacturing). Data warehousing (For financial services, telecom and call centres). Sports betting (API for online sites, bet processing and settling, book balancing). SMS, SMPP, Kannel, Ozeki and Logica. I have worked the length and breadth of the SMS market and had my own business and regard myself as an expert. Having along the way encountered almost every situation and shortcoming and overcome them. Kannel on Linux and even on windows under cygwin, utilised both Sqlbox and openSMPP and even had to change the kannel source code when required. Also direct dvelopment against SMSC for billing. Telephony - I have integrated CRM's and other applications into call centre set up with Avaya and Cisco linked to NICE call recorder and various dialler products to enable CTI delivery to the agents. Added to this I have now done several projects involving Twilio as an outsourced solution I have set web based click to call. Also full IVR trees for agent selection. Call recording and retrieval when agents unavailable. Automated voice messages based on changes to a customers account in a MySQL databases, SMS messages where calls fail. I have used the Twilio API both in PHP and C# as 2 different systems handle different aspects of the business. I know I have missed as much as I have put but I know that we can solve your problem or bring to life your ideas. Best Regards Phil

All listed below tech specs are for those who understand theme. As for business people I just would like to say that I share such an opinion that any program I write is requested due to a profit. So commercial success of my code – is general approach. I do realize that all listed below details means nothing if my result does not bring commercial benefits to customer. I have a big background in PHP coding, especially in Zend Framework (but other frameworks and pure PHP are well known too). Node.js from year to year becomes more common for me as well. MySQL, PostgreSQL are being used for database engine including such a sharp tools as foreign keys, stored procedures and triggers. MongoDB, Redis are well known too. Normalize and denormalize DB structure ideas to speed up DB engine reply are familiar for me. Triggers, stored procedures, transactions, foreign key restrictions – are features I used to apply in some of my projects. I use client javascript libraries whether as Jquery, Backbone, Underscore and server side like express.js, socket.io, sequelize.js as well. My most favorite is AngularJS. On server side also Memcached and Sphinx could be used by me to boost server response time. In addition I am Linux and MacOS user. Bash and cron scripting, logs analysis, SSH connection, LAMP and etc. are well known and pretty often being in use. Of course I use Git for code versions tracking (SVN is okay as well). Recently I started to use Grunt for building releases.
