I'm an experienced Python web and desktop application developer, with a few websites under my belt, and 4 years experience.
I am working on a cross-platform Python GUI that creates standalone executables from Website projects and Nodejs projects. It's simple and intuitive and has been downloaded thousands of times. The feedback I've received on it is amazing and everyone seems to like it.
Work I've done in the past includes Desktop Applications (Java, Python), Web Applications (Python, Django) and game design.
In regards to game design, I did game a week challenge not too long ago. The website is at http://simplypixelated.com/. This challenge was designed to get me off my butt and do some video game work! And it worked!
I'm friendly and well read, and I love working on interesting things. I learn fast and have experience with lots of programming languages.
Programming languages that I know well:
I've worked on a few django websites, one of which is a personal website that is no longer up and the second of which was for a contract job involving Openstack and Horizon. The splash page for that can be viewed here: http://cloudplus.dynastack.com/dyna. Unfortunately, I cannot provide login information.
One more that I helped get going was www.readycloud.com, which is a cloud based shipping service that keeps track of orders made for different companies.
I've also completed an Android app called Place Locator. It's an app to track places you've been and makes it easy to find them again. It's a free app to download and can be accessed here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.payneattayne.placelocator
My personal preference for a language to program in is Python. It's syntax is terse, it's easy to make quick prototypes, and it's very developer friendly for most applications.
I love working on new and exciting projects and I love working with new people. I'd love to help you on your mission, whatever it may be.
