    Experienced MQL4 programmer

    United Kingdom - Last active: 4 days ago - Tests: 13 - Portfolio: 5

MetaTrader 4 Programmer (MQL4) I'm a professional programmer with over 5 years experience in trading forex and converting / interpreting systems for Expert Advisor automation. As a Company Director (CEO) of over 15 years I always work to high standards in a completely professional and ethical manner. Being UK based, I am fully conversant with the complexities of the English language and can convey complex points in an understandable manner. All indicators, expert advisors and scripts I produce are professionally coded, tested and robust, and include the following as standard (where appropriate): - 4/5 digit broker compatibility - Automatic time zone / offset recognition - Built in error checks - Built in safety features (i.e. Closure of orders where stop loss setting fails) I have previously coded the following complex scenarios which can be readily built into future projects: - Serial number protection linked to varying expiry dates - Restriction of indicators/expert advisors to specific chart types and/or timeframes - Automatic changing of charts to correct timeframes - Lot sizing based on account risk percentages - Spreadbetting compatibility - News avoidance (eg. Stopping trades around high impact releases) - Scraping for retrieving information from web sites / RSS feeds I have developed a robust licencing system which can be encoded into any EA or indicator. It allows on-line authorization, chart and time-frame restrictions plus allows remote changing of EA/indicator settings and variables. Please ask for a demo if you are interested. All expert advisors are coded to provide for enhanced optimization and quick backtesting. As a supplementary service I can create professional looking installers and autorun front ends for installation CD's, USB sticks, etc., including the incorporation of logos and branding graphics. I also have experience writing technical manuals, creating video tutorials and preparing seminars.

Multifaceted Virtual Assistant. Business support branch

    Sweden - Last active: 1 month ago - Tests: 17 - Portfolio: 4

My previous line of work led to the start of a VA business. My goal is to work with what I like and keep up the trend of various tasks. The rate described is my lowest rate, which I usually apply because I sometimes like to do assignments to keep my skills at a recent level, and then that rate apply. On the other hand could other duties require a higher rate. My VA role is one of the multi-skilled, or multifaceted as I use for marketing since I've learned a lot of different skills during the positions I held. I'm very service minded, as I started out as a cashier and office girl and had the privilege to work with people with genuine feeling for service. I find it likable and I also think it makes sense to keep a service minded attitude towards customers. If you see someone without a smile - give them one of your kind of recaps what service is. Additionally to the service offered in the line of work, that is. Later on I've for several years each, held positions as sales secretary, school secretary, administrative consultant, application specialist and web/system developer. Besides having extensive work experience, the studying of sociology, psychology and computer science at an academic level constitutes useful knowledge. Still today I feel at home in almost any constellation of work, I like to do repetitive tasks from time to time, and challenging tasks from time to time. Work satisfaction is important to me, and it means delivering good results, to be of benefit to the receiver. For myself the help and learn part goes a long way. One other thing to mention is that I learned to type at an early age. That skill has been both useful and fun during the years. Besides skills in service and typing, I'm interested in languages, both human and computer. Regarding human language, I write with a fine imagination, do my research and have a splendid vocabulary. Regarding computers, I like to make life easier for end users, and I also focus on usability. Regarding both languages, I also like to enhance the experience for the reader/user. Oh, I nearly forgot (if you're still reading this short essay that is), I also do some graphic designs from time to time. Web design, Logo designs, Business Cards, Newsletter, formatting in Word, layouts in PowerPoint and so on! We need beautiful things! Cheers!

    Aaron Gardner

    Expert Web Developer, 15+yrs Marketing+Sales, 5+yrs REALTOR

    United States - Last active: 18 days ago - Tests: 7 - Portfolio: 20

Are you looking for someone who has extensive experience with marketing, sales, lead generation, affiliate marketing, email marketing, or residential real estate? Do you need someone with awesome communication skills, a solid understanding of web design, and swell English? (Yep..."swell".) Are you a fellow entrepreneur/internet marketer who needs to customize your unique project in a way that matches your style and branding? If you answered "Yes" to any (or all) of the above, send me an interview request today. I always aim to exceed my clients' expectations, and a review of my client feedback will confirm this. I'm looking for interesting projects in the following areas (preferably in the real estate industry, but open to interesting alternatives): - light web design work/customization/consulting for real estate agents & brokers - lead generation / internet marketing consulting for real estate agents & brokers - automation consulting (I can help you get rid of time-consuming / redundant / redundant tasks so you can focus on more important things) Preferred Contracts: - $300 minimum (if flat rate) - Less than 5 hours per week (if hourly) Send an interview request today and let's see how I can make your project a smashing success! I've been designing websites, graphics, spreadsheets and software for over 17 years, over 95% from scratch. My specialty is the area having to do with "Direct Response" methods of lead generation, having studied almost every Dan Kennedy book and dozens of self-study courses over the years. I eat, breathe, sleep and dream sales and marketing. You think like an entrepreneur, and so do I...because that's almost all I've known for over a decade. I've been self-employed in some form my entire adult life. Borderline-obsessive work ethic is just another day at the office. I've gone through Tim Ferriss' "4-Hour Work Week" almost a dozen times. GAME. CHANGER. If you've read it, you know what I mean. If you haven't: read it. Real Estate Experience: - licensed residential real estate agent since 2005 - full-time real estate agent 2005-2010 - worked with investors, relocation companies - former real estate Board member + teacher Web Design And Lead Generation: I have spent the past 9 years working extensively with: - Custom landing pages/"Squeeze Pages" (many for the Real Estate niche) - AWeber + GetResponse automated email delivery services - Loan Pre-Qualification forms (designed for real estate agents + residential lenders) - Tons of form-filling processes and data capture on the web - Wordpress integration, theme customization, and theme-building - Internet Video integration - PDF/eBook generation - Fixing bugs so sites display correctly (a necessary evil) Sales & Marketing: - I've been selling enthusiastically since the age of 5 (it started with selling pencils door-to-door. I made $2.50 in 15 minutes. My mom yelled at me and made me return the money. It was on this day that my disdain for authority was born...) - I own (and actually completed) more sales, marketing, real estate investing, and real estate agent training courses than I can count (over 100 at least) - I hired a professional sales and marketing coach for approximately two years while practicing real estate, and amassed a well-rounded business education along the way - Barely old enough to vote, I spent 3 years selling telecommunications service and building sales teams I've also spent more time than I can count on: - Writing custom email campaigns - Writing eBooks and Free Reports for website give-aways - Designing custom graphics, flyers, and advertisements - Designing website elements (logos, buttons, banner graphics, backgrounds, etc) - Copy writing / sales letters (long- and short-form) Long story short: I have a strong background in the many aspects of internet-based sales and marketing, I love sales and marketing, and I'm a stickler for details. Send me an interview request today and let's see how I can be an asset to your project! I'm very familiar with the following languages and tools (if your project requires them): - HTML / PHP / CSS - Javascript / jQuery / jQuery Mobile / AJAX - Adobe Photoshop / PSD-to-HTML - MySQL databases (and website integration) - Microsoft Excel (I've designed hundreds of custom spreadsheets and 3 complete software solutions for myself and clients) If you're looking for a developer or content writer with a strong background in the finer points of sales and marketing, one with an obsession over the details, one with a thorough understanding of what it takes to generate you more business and get you more email subscribers, send me an interview request today and let's see if we're a match.

    Filemaker Business Systems Developer

    United Kingdom - Last active: 1 day ago - Tests: 5 - Portfolio: 4

Experienced IT consultant for over 15 years, moved into developing Filemaker solutions over 5 years ago. Experienced with Filemaker 10-13, in Pro, Pro Advanced, Go and Server, including Web Direct. Presently the managing director of a retail company with a number of sites, most of my development has been for my own business and personal needs. I have also recently started Freelancing in Filemaker via oDesk. Current open projects include - Full multi site "simple EPoS till system", reporting to a centrally hosted server for reporting to iPhone/iPad. This "easy to use, but complex in design" system allows for near real time checking of 3 cash registers in 3 different sites remotely via iPhone. All built on Filemaker technologies. - Over 2500 member database, tracking membership of over 200 "groups" and associated subscriptions. This database is shared online to ~20 users with differing access and usage requirements. This has involved separate development, layouts, scripts, for each role. The information in this database now spans back to 1994, when it was kept in a number of Paradox for DOS databases, one for each year. These were ported, via DBase and Excel into a "Filemaker conversion package" that manipulated the data into a single entity. - Work with an external Funeral company to assess requirements and formulate a design for various business needs. This is ongoing work. - A number of simpler systems to track cash take, banking, travel expenses, stocktaking, etc. Some of these are hosted for multi user input. I mainly try to develop Filemaker solutions to appear as fully fledged client applications, with complete control of the user experience. I hide the 'out of the box' Filemaker menu system, and have developed a number of equivalent controls to navigate records, perform finds, or display the records being shown. I very much believe in the Apple 'usability model'. The 'simple to use' EPoS system I have developed requires no documented staff training to use.
