Management Information System and Information Technologist Staff at
Panabo Polymedic Hospital PPHI (October 22, 2013 – March 15,2014)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining Hospital Information System
Perform or conduct workstation monitoring in every hospital departments;
Perform management of centralized or de-centralized administrative databases for successful management of these databases and related objects in the areas of database security, availability, recoverability, performance and software installation;
Assist in resolution of database related problems and supports database related solutions;
Manages a multi-user computer system data/voice/video system that may include network security, installing new applications, distributing software upgrades, monitoring daily activity, enforcing licensing agreements, developing a storage management program and providing for routine backups;
Serve as a computer technician in accomplishing the variety of tasks that may install, troubleshoot and repair new and/or existing PCs;
Involve oneself with the maintenance and administration of both a computer network and connected desktop and laptop computers;
Operate and monitor a wide variety of computer systems, including mainframes, mini-computers, servers, telecommunication equipment, personal computers in a multi-processing mode; or responsible for processing production job streams via online and batch processing; functions as a backup for all core business applications; maintains assigned related job and system documentation(s);
Perform scheduled production work and system backups;
Implement coordination/management of information technology projects that could coordinate from kickoff through completion a single focus project, such as a hospital system-wide information, voice communication system project, video security system and the like;
Perform systematic documentation and reporting of activities, monthly, quarterly and annual report (narrative and statistical reports);
Coordinate with other hospital staff (as mention above) needed for employees and/or patient information;
Plan, make, revise if possible, implement schedule, central information management policies and procedures manual of operations, strategic plan, and possible activities for information system work action and quality improvement/development; and
Maintain and manage technical information system competencies (knowledge, skills and attitude)
Setting up and Maintaining Network cabling of the Hospital Cabling Structure
Manage the database of the hospital through Managing MYSQL database (Microsoft 2012 Server) and saving updated backups;
Maintaining working knowledge of new development trends, and practices related to responsibilities.
Last October 2010- December 2010 I have teaching period for a short period of time, My role was a Teacher of pre-schools and elementary, I teach about the new method of Mathematics which was Speed Math its a new way approach of this modern pace era.
Right now I am doing and working out my skills a computer programmer specifically in Visual Basic 2010 express and this recently I'm making a project system in Java using Netbeans 6.9.1 its been a year working out on the first prior programming language and a couple of months in Java programming language.
Furthermore, I working to develop more of my ability in Web Development.
One of My goal and objective is to finish the task, no matter what the cost is.
