Presently, I work as Support Services Specialist for a Contact Center in Maine, USA. Day-to-day tasks involves assisting agents with technical issues with their workstations, work applications and tools, network and internet connectivity, handling tickets through an internal ticketing system, agent monitoring, and other temporary one-time tasks and projects as requested by management.
With 9 years of work experience in the outsourced support for IT products and services, you can hire me for several different roles. I would also like to learn new skills, tools and processes related to this field.
I am well abreast with computer hardware setup and troubleshooting, in configuring Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8), in optimizing computer performance and in troubleshooting problems with Windows, Printers and Malware/Virus issues.
I have worked with top reputable companies like Convergys, Acquire Asia Pacific and Dell. I am very trainable and a fast learner. I am keen with quality of service and process and procedures.
I have a short (6 months) experience in sales being an Account Executive for Branders.com but due to my strong interest in technology and computers, I then moved to working as Technical Support starting 2005 at Convergys.
My longest work experience is from 2009 to 2014 as a Client Technical Support Senior Associate at Dell Computers / Dell.com (Dell International Services Philippines, Inc.) and in the past year I have been under the Dell Tech Concierge department which is the Premium Phone support service provided by Dell to its customers. Over these years, I have worked over the phone providing support to customers for desktop and laptop hardware and software problems and sometimes simply providing common sense knowledge regarding computer usage. As part of my work, I have continuously received training and education about computer technologies, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Applications and other 3rd Party Software commonly found in most computers.
In my work as a Tutor/Teacher in a tutorial agency before working formally in the Call Center Industry, I have experienced that seeing your student learn and seeing them happy and glad with what you have taught them gives you that golden feeling of happiness. And this is the reason why I would also love to work or be trained as an educator or some sort of teacher especially in a field I am familiar with.
