    Chad was given a customer service task that was relatively new to him. After providing him adequate training, he was ready to be active on the customer service team. Granted that errors are inevitable in new hires, Chad was unwilling to improve despite all additional training. Due to this, the quality of his work declined and there was no sense of urgency to improve. Chad was hired to work a set schedule and failed to meet the availability times on a consistent basis. The main problem was communication. Only simple replies were given for each e-mail sent to him. For these types of contracts, communication is key.
