I started my formal artistic training at the Academy of Art University in 1997. In addition to traditional art, I began working on the first version of Maya. Later I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts at San Jose State University with the highest honors (summa cum laude).
Since then I've taught several training classes on the job as well as at SJSU. As a character artist, my typical workflow includes Maya, Mudbox, and Photoshop. I'm also familiar with a variety of other packages including ZBrush, After Effects, etc. In addition to model
