Ridwan is the best and smartest professional I've ever had the honor of employing. First, he is insanely talented - smarter than a fair few people I know from MIT (my alma mater). He solved programming challenges that would flummox many other experienced coders with ease and grace, and many times made suggestions that improved the final product into something far better than I had originally conceived.
Second, he is a genuine expert in web applications (and I'm sure a lot of other domains too, but it was a web app he created for me). For every language/service I suggested (be it for various forms of advanced interactivity, online payment processing, database management, etc.), he knew a (often cutting-edge) language/service that would do the same - but better, cheaper, and faster. At every stage he exceeded my expectations of knowledge and expertise dramatically.
Third, he is a consummate professional, and incredibly quick- and hard-working. While other Elancers who bid for my project gave estimated production times of 3-4 weeks, Ridwan had completed the entire project in 3-4 days, to a standard I'm confident was several orders of magnitude better than the other bidders were capable of. Every email I sent received a reply in a matter of minutes (even though our time zones were 10 hours apart). Every request, no matter how impossible-seeming, received a 'yep, that should be easy enough, give me a couple of hours...' His English is not only fluent but, I would say, better than native. His emails felt like they'd been written by a smart US grad student. His post-production care also vastly exceeded my expectations: he continued to work to make small changes, answer my questions, and other requests, unpaid, long after the original project had been completed.
In sum, Ridwan is one of the smartest and hardest-working professionals you are likely to meet - on this site or off it. You should employ him quickly, before he ends up at Google (or founds the next one).
