I grow companies, manage teams, and invent cool new stuff ... more[mostly nuclear sensors]. I do expert witness work, algorithm development, accounting, patent consulting, and make sales [$30 million to date]. I love every minute of it. I'd be delighted to create your business plan [I've done more than 20] or write your proposal [I've done more than 200, with about a 70% winning percentage]. I'd also love to write your patent for you before you take it to your attorney. I've got 6 of my own, 3 pending, and have written two for others. I've also done about 12 expert witness cases in federal court involving patents. In fact, if you're an attorney or a litigant in search of an experienced expert witness with broad technology scope, we should talk. I've done 75 expert witness cases, including the largest tax case in history, Microsoft vs Commissioner of Internal Revenue [$1.7 billion - I was the IRS's lead expert witness on software development issues.] I've run two international firms and taken one public on US markets, so I can help you out with international work as well. And that includes working to get ITAR clearance [if you need it, you'll know what that means... International Traffic in Arms Regulation requirements by the US Government] I'm a pretty decent algorithm developer, and have written killer algorithms for financial and investment modeling, neutron and gamma ray transport, magnetic field penetration into solids, device physics, oil spill migration, oil pipeline rupture, and governmental decision making. Oh - and I can take a model and make a mean SQL schema out of it, if needed. Right now, I'm working on software for cargo barge traffic on the Mississippi River, a patent for localizing lottery ticket sales over mobile devices, a method for cryptographically securing CAN Bus architectures against hacks by ISIS for US military vehicles [in conjunction with the Army's TARDEC center of excellence in Warren, MI], and I'm President and CFO of The Daily Shake, a Los Angeles health food restaurant. I was formerly a cybersecurity Project Manager at Port Hueneme Naval Base in California, and frequently testify about computer forensics in court. I was also formerly Chief Scientist and Director of an R&D firm that designed explosives detection systems. I raised $4 million capital and hold US Patents 8,785,864, 8,410,451, 8,357,910, 8,288,734, 8,080,808, and 7,573,044. I'm a nuclear physicist by background, and I'm a neutron technology evangelist. I was Interim President/CFO of an Internet domain name registrar with US and European offices. I was also the President and CFO of an international publicly traded tech firm with 130 employees and 3 offices on 2 continents. I took the company public, created all SEC filings and finance instruments, and did a merger. I've made $30 million in technology sales, done mergers to $20 million, redesigned 2 corporate presences, and created and launched 3 brands. I've also managed more than 100 programs and projects, with budgets to $7.5 million and staffs to 35, including multiyear and concurrent projects, using agile and traditional methods. I took one company thru a CMM Level 3 self-assessment and was a major player in ISO 9001 certification of 2 others. I hold PMP, CSM, and MCP+I designations. I was a regular presenter on Capitol Hill and at the Pentagon in counterterrorism for more than 5 years, and gave more than 50 invited talks. I was interviewed on Anderson Cooper 360 about the London Subway Plot. I hosted the Southern California talk show Business and Technology on KZSB-AM 1290 for several years. Oh - and I used to own a small airline and Cessna dealership, and I worked on the moon rocks from Apollos 11 and 12. Yes, I go back that far. :-) less
