Published Author, Ghostwriter, Editor, and Former Publishing Exec

Over the past ten years, I've built a career for myself in the literary world. I am a published author, having published two books under a pseudonym, both in the fiction/fantasy genre. I have ghostwritten many novels, all in the fiction realm, four of them having since been published. I am a perfectionist and want to convey the creator's vision into the the beauty of text. I personally find it a challenge when the reader can visualize what the author intends for it to be. I have studied historiography and different research methods while in school, doing research and writing several essays on historical topics, as well as ghost writing for other students. I am adapt in MLA, Chicago, and Trebian citation systems. I also spent a great deal of time learning editing and proofreading, as I graduated with a degree in both History and English. I have recently parted ways with a small publishing house, acting as their lead editor and creative executive, to pursue a career on my own. I enjoy working with authors, helping them to achieve their dreams without having to deal with the bureaucratic workings of corporate America. A novel, whether fiction or non fiction, is art before commodity and it must be respected as such. Time, effort, research, and love go into creating a work. To treat it as if it were only meant to generate revenue is disrespect to those who spend time creating it. I will do everything in my power to make sure that your work is taken seriously, professionally, and respectfully. I will help you create your story, if you need someone to put the words down for you. I will help you edit your story, if you need it to look perfect. I will also help guide you through the publishing process if you need it.
