The 2 articles that Marlon wrote were great.
But similar to a previous employer's review on Marlon's lack of availability and communication, I experienced the same thing. I asked him if we could get some work done by the end of the week. He showed no desire to complete the task or even give me an answer on if he was going to complete it or not.
Again, similar to another employer's remarks, I did see in his work diary, that there were images of websites and other windows not pertaining to the task at hand. I understand that we use certain websites for music and entertainment, but for an employer to see that the first week of someone working, is not a good thing because we haven't built that trust yet.
Lastly, from our conversation before the job started, I was under the impression that Marlon would be able to commit a lot more time to this project, but apparently was not able to.
Due to lack of communication and lack of work hours completed, I ended this contract within the first week. I have deadlines and unfortunately, I don't have time to wait (and hope) for Marlon to respond.
Marlon would be a really great asset if he made himself more available and worked on his communication.
