Are you sick of sifting through "copywriters" on oDesk that don't understand sales and marketing? Have you ever paid too much money for copy or content that failed to increase sales or conversions? I feel your pain. It's unfortunate this has become the standard among copywriters. Many writers who specialize in article writing or SEO content would love you to believe they are capable copywriters. There is a big difference between a writer and a copywriter though. A copywriter takes the time to research your market and understand your audience. A good copywriter knows how sales and marketing works and how business happens on ... the internet. Most importantly, your copywriter should be able to communicate with YOU about what YOU want. You're the one paying the bill, you should be able to get what you want, wrapped up in a package that sells right? I have a broad range, I even once wrote a direct mail piece for a pre-menstrual underwear company (check my portfolio for proof). I take pride in being able to write for just about any topic. I still want to make sure we are a good fit before we start working together though.
