A few years ago, I became interested in developing web pages. I started with learning HTML by just making some baisc web pages, full of errors and layout done with tables. I learned that what I was doing was bad and I did started using CSS for layout and the W3C validator to make sure I did everything correct. Some time later I learned PHP by altering an open-source browser game I found online. Because I had to maintain my player base I had a lot of pressure to learn new stuff about PHP. When me and most players lost interest in the game ... I did some reading over at PHP.net to make sure I used it correctly. I finished my first payed job februari 2010 and now I am looking for new projects, mostly because I find that I can learn much from them. Because of this learning factor I don't want to charge costumers too much. This is why I would rather determine a price and deadline for a project up front. I also have sp,e experience with Python, C++ and I have done a few projects in VB.NET.
