2023 Proposal for Alex Hoffman v02
Igor is phenomenal, and highly-skilled with back-end cloud implementations including AWS. My project started off with a limited scope of work, but I soon realized that to make a durable, high-quality project, Igor's expertise was required on a broader basis. He put together a thoughtful set of milestones and we expanded the scope of work to get it done right.
For context the project started as a simple screenshare to implement code from an article, but as he found errors in the underlying code, we shifted it to ultimately become a custom ChatGPT chatbot with AWS ingest and query endpoints based upon a Pinecone index. All can be done from Github Codespaces in the cloud which means I can now access and change it from anywhere in the world, no setup required. Igor patiently help me make sure I understood how to operate it at every step so I now feel sufficient on my own.
Igor was flexible to my schedule which enabled us to make progress on nights and weekends. I look forward to working with Igor again, he is without a doubt my first call when my app is ready to take the next step.
