- 2Creative Strategy
The Creative Strategy is a document written to explain the proposed tone, language, and desired response from the viewer including any necessary call to action requests.
- 3Statement of Work (SOW)
The Statement of work builds off of the Creative Strategy and includes specific steps in the process as well as pricing information/breakdowns.
Wireframes are generated for each of the various page types. For example, the layout of the Home Page will likely be different from the Contact Us page, or the Blog page. Each unique page layout will be provided.
- 5Asset Gathering
Asset Gathering can be a variety of items ranging from images all the way to user account information. However, most of the sites require the basic elements including images, text content, color palettes, videos, testimonials (to name a few items).
Once all of the assets are gathered, a mockup of the site pages will be provided for review. If you choose the package which includes a live mockup, you will be able to try the functionality of the site at this stage.
Based on the review of the Mockups, the site will be built with basic development and functionality in mind.
Staging is the first chance to see the final polished site just prior to launching the site live. This is the stage whereby any final changes are made. It is often considered a toll-gate stage as the site will not go back to development if possible.
User Access Testing or UAT is performed once the Staging site is approved. The goal is to determine if the site is functioning as expected. Typically this is handled by somebody familiar with the company, but not the site, as well as myself.
The launch from Staging to Production is how the world can see the site, it is live. Should any revisions be necessary we would move back to Staging and launch again.
