I found Shanada extremely agreeable to work with and eager to support me. Unfortunately during the most important milestones of my business, my book launch she was unavailable. I scrambled to find another freelancer. However, I liked her energy and kept her on. From the message thread here, it looks like she was under pressure to nickel and dime every aspect of our work from her agency, which is fine as long as it was work requested. When I asked for clarification on 1.5 hours or work I did not ask for, I then was billed 10 minutes to explain the charge. I imagine in compliance with her agency's policy to bill every minute. This was unprofessional and unacceptable. I have never not paid for work I've asked her. I value the human relationship, going forward I will not work another agency and go direct with a freelancer.
