Project details
I have made hundreds of drawings for a variety of parts to be manufactured a variety of ways. I was a design engineer for 8 years and a manufacturing engineer for 2. The responsibilities of both positions often overlapped. Delivering drawings that are clear, concise and have all the pertinent information for manufacturers takes experience. I know the right questions to ask to deliver you a product you can take straight to a manufacturer. I also have some manufacturing contacts. I believe in open communication, so don't be afraid to ask any questions.

Responsible for original product design, FEA analysis, engineering
reports, development and organization of engineering models and
prints, and oversight of manufacturing of hundreds of piece-parts.
Experienced with the "cradle to grave" process when developing new
products.
Started as a laborer for a construction contractor. Gained additional
experience interning for a Civil Engineering firm. Graduated with a
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. After
graduation, I gladly joined the working world immediately.

Gather Information
The first step is to initiate contact with the client so they can communicate their desires with my service. This can include part intent, materials, how the part should be manufactured, etc. Do you need part modeling too? See my other projects.
Gather Files
Receive files from client. CAD model files (SolidWorks if possible) are the basic requirement to make the 2D technical drawings. If I have the ability to import into SolidWorks, that can work as well.
