Project details

You will receive a beautiful, custom portrait based off of a favorite picture of yourself or someone else! Ranging from 8x10- 11x17". I have a wide range of styles and mediums, from watercolor, pen, charcoal, to collage and colored pencil. I am playful with my work, but can also be minimal and realistic- embodying the person I am capturing. I also do pet portraits, children, and family portraits! At the end of the project, you will receive a safely packaged, unique piece of art!

As a passionate photographer, sketchbook-keeper, poet, and dreamer, I strive for a life fueled by the arts. Inspired by travel, everyday life, music, and the human condition- I range from working with musicians to corporations. I am skilled in photo editing and manipulation, using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro as my platforms. In my technical work, I am refined yet also maintain a sense of artistry and experimentation. My personal artistic work is a culmination of mixed media, photography, video, textiles, bookmaking and painting. As author Julia Cameron once wrote "Leap, and the net will appear", I take leaps of faith in all aspects of my work- trusting intuition and my training to guide me.

I spent an inspiring five years the Rhode Island School of Design, where the gardens of creativity were watered on me and my peers. My boundaries were pushed, and from it came an outlook on life: Life is a novel waiting to be written. Through it all, I learned the power of hard work and resilience to write that novel.

Creating art everyday - creating a life in images and color - is what fuels me. Truly, my greatest joy is capturing the beauty and pain of the human experience, sharing my work, and creating art with others. In every piece I create, I work with the client to achieve what they envision, while also adding my own delicate touch.
