I'll illustrate and layout your book cover for a young readers book (ages 8 to 12).
If you're looking for
- a customized cover art,
- hand drawn by an experienced illustrator,
- transporting action an emotion
- and with relatable, vivid characters from YOUR story,
than this is for you!
NO stock images! I draw what you want me to!
Suitable for all genres of Young Readers / Middle Grade / Tween / Chapter Book.

Attention! The three tiers include only the front cover which is perfect for ebooks. The design of the book spine and back cover are NOT included in the tiers. If you need them for a printed version of the book, please purchase the add-on "back of book and spine".
Delivery time starts counting as soon as I've received the requirements from you. And the time you take to give feedback will be added to delivery time, obviously! So if you take a week from receiving files to giving me feedback, the project will take three weeks instead of two, for example ;-)

Illustration Philosophy
Images attract attention more than anything. I'll make them your stage to tell your story! Emotion in the image evokes emotion in the viewer. Sympathy with the character creates a bond to your project, product or story. What's the story you want to tell? I'll pencil it down for you.
Work Style
- Usually digital, sometimes traditional illustrations.
- Form follows function: I'll always seek the best fit for the needs of a project.
- No need to say: always accurate, responsive, and on time.
Why work with me?
I define myself as a perfectionist who tamed her perfectionism. Means: I'll let myself be drawn entirely into our new project, put all my brain power into it, master all requirements, think around the corner ... and know when's the right time to wrap it up.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Mandy can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Mandy receives requirements from you.
Mandy works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Sketches
As soon as I've received the required information from you, I'll start sketching. You'll receive 2 sketched versions of the cover (with layout/text). Choose one. If you need any changes, tell me in this step. This is revision N° 1.
Illustration
After receiving your feedback about the sketches, I'll draw the final illustration. You'll receive a low-resolution file to check for any mistakes. I can do little changes needed in this step. This is revision N° 2.
