Children's Illustrated Book
This was my second project with the illustrator. I came back due to my good experience during the illustration work on my first book and the skill of the illustrator and his team. The illustrations done are of good quality and largely as per how I had envisioned them.
However, this time I faced some concerns especially with regards to the lack of communication and very large delay in timelines. I had to repeatedly ask the illustrator for updates. I found that they were facing some domestic challenges but even given enough slack for that I was barely able to complete the project more than a month after schedule.
The team is talented and I still believe very cooperative. (That is why I haven't been overly critical.) I would suggest that they focus a bit more on becoming professional (regular touchpoints + adherence to timelines + project planning) to reach greater heights.
