About Thais

Currently, I'm a student on a master's degree in product and service design at the University of Minho. I also have a specialization in Neuroarchitecture, with an emphasis on inclusive spaces for autistic users. This topic was the result of my own late diagnosis as an autistic person with ADHD, where I realized the gap in the ability of architecture professionals to create appropriate spaces for autistic people, especially when considering the adult age group. I have already worked as a tutor also, for practical activities in the Architecture and Urbanism degree program, where I was responsible for applying and accompanying students in the development of architectural practices.
Besides the field of architecture and interior design, I am an activist for the neurodivergent cause and I have an Instagram profile to raise awareness and a podcast together with another late-diagnosed autistic woman, where we discuss current issues and their connections with autism.
