I started my university education with a strong interest in writing, studying journalism, creative writing and film units at Edith Cowan University.
My first job post graduation was working for myself as a freelance graphic and web designer. During this time I met many interesting people and undertook a wide variety of work including book covers, general promo material and website design for small to medium sized companies.
I then worked as a professional Graphic Designer at several companies in Australia and internationally, where my role as the primary designer included numerous responsibilities. My writing experience at ECU also became invaluable, as writing copy for advertising campaigns was also required.
Looking for new challenges, I then started my architectural studies in 2009, where I quickly gained accolades for my design work, earning both the Laminex Group Prize and attaining membership to the Vice-Chancellor's List for Academic Excellence. Some of my work was also published in the book, Fremantle on the Edge.
After graduating with a Masters of Architecture degree in 2016, I then started, Ko* - a furniture and design company that specialises in flat-pack plywood piece that require no glue or fixings.
I still retain a strong interest in writing in my own time, in addition to being a voracious reader of book on many topics.
This wide variety of interests and experience has strengthened my design methodology and fostered a unique approach to creative problem solving.
I am able to deliver a wide range of Graphic Design solutions, having experience over many years and across several industries, designing everything from product catalogs to travel brochures, from websites to full branding packages.
I am also a strong writer and can write quality text for whatever is required, in a range of formats (I can also edit and amend existing text).
