Congratulations on choosing whimsical and lively illustrations that will captivate your reader while they get lost in your story!
My illustrations will be crafted specifically to meet your needs and vision, and you'll benefit from years of illustration/layout know-how. I love breathing life into characters and even hiding marvelous details for the readers to enjoy. Your piece will stand apart because it won't look like the mass-produced digital books so prevalent today.
Tier 2, 3 clients also get the benefit of a (ppt) book dummy to get a sense of how their book will flow.
You'll know what you are getting every step of the way with clear communication. Because the project is not hourly-based, you don't have to worry about being surprised with inflated fees, or getting cut-rate work because you have to put a cap on hours.
Revisions are a necessary part of projects, but I like to limit those to sketch phase when possible. (Each project tier has an allowable for an ink revision, but each project is unique and can be discussed)

Imaginative Illustrator Wanted!
Marcy is incredibly talented! Her artwork is very expressive and made my work come alive. Marcy works hard to give a creator what is asked for, but also adds her own artistic ideas. She finished well ahead of schedule and was willing to make changes when needed. I highly recommend her.

My artistic style is whimsical and bold and very character-driven. I focus on children's book illustration and also cartooning. Animals, people and creatures are my bread and butter, but I add an unexpected pickle of strange to that bread/butter art sandwich. My clients have found that our projects run smoothly because I communicate and collaborate well and bring a huge amount of energy and creativity to my work.
I am also accomplished advertising executive with deep experience in consumer product launch. This means I am used to collaboration and meeting deadline.

After a discovery session where we discuss your vision, you will receive a batch of very rough sketches that depict how the illustration style is headed.
