I have been for sixteen years now and undertaking pet portraits for almost ten. I always strive to create a piece of art in the same way one would while painting a human sitter. Just because they are furry or feathered, doesn't mean they deserve anything less!

I have been published in several books and magazines from the BTO's 'Into the Red' a coffee table book containing artworks of endangered birds to Alternatives Economiques a monthly magazine concerned with social and economic issues.
My skills are tactile, relying on physical objects like silk screens, pencils and paint. I use all of these tools daily and have built up a wide range of techniques and styles using them. After the initial drawing/painting/design I process the images in Photoshop to ensure their quality is appropriate for professional use. From merchandise design to professional branding for stately homes to oil portraits, I benefit from my background in Fine Art and can create work in a style that fits any brief.
Due to my work in the textile printing industry I have lots of experience with a range of clients large and small. I believe excellent communication between myself and a client leads to the best possible finished product, with realistic lead times that fit your timescale.
