Hygge is the Danish concept of coziness,well-being and the feeling of content one achieves when they are in their best state. That content feeling of sitting by the campfire with friends and family; That is Hygge.

I believe in keeping things simple and straightforward. I promote using locally sourced material and plants. I prefer working with natural processes rather than working against them, meaning plant selections that work in the conditions. I also believe in a simple idea "Når alt andet mislykkes, prøv sund fornuft", Which from Danish translates to "When all else fails, try common sense.

I am a Landscape Designer that works primarily on Residential projects. I work remotely, based on information provided, or if necessary, researched. So long as I have the pertinent information I can provide the documents you require.

In regards to your project, any landscape project starts with research. Before you start putting plants in the ground, get the information you need for a successful outdoor space from a professional. Top notch service, very timely and an awesome design

I lost several trees on my property in the last ice storm and am still very happy to live among 100 foot Douglas Firs. The circumstances, plus COVID, prompted us to rethink our landscape (and so many other things too). But I appreciated that Jarrett was able to surface considerations and give us space to think through our responses, yet also provide a structure to move through the design process attentively and with awareness. Our final design transitions us from "picking up the pieces' to the right pieces--the ones that compliment the natural beauty of our surroundings.
