Project details
In postproduction for the sports sphere, the main task is to emphasize the body shape and muscle volumes of the athlete, it is very important not to lose any muscle fiber during retouching and to highlight the muscle definition as much as possible.
The usual, fast methods of retouching using frequency separation and automatic smoothing of skin imperfections using a mix brush are not suitable here. This method will kill all the detail in the texture and muscles. Therefore, local non-destructive impact with the help of manual dodge&burn techniques is important here.
This method is my preferred method of retouching. It allows me to do premium highly detailed retouching without losing texture.
Therefore, athletes such as Janet Leigh, an eight-time winner of the IFBB Pro tournaments and Shawn Rhoden MR. OLYMPIA 18 chose me for the editorial post production of their photos.
