First I'll look at the description of what you want, any references you sent, and get started on loose thumbnails before deciding on something to get started on for a more refined sketch.
The sketch
From there, I'll get sketching! This involves composition, getting the proportions and possible anatomy right, and making sure everything is the way I want it to look. For my sketch people, I do clean it up for you!
