Initial Sketch and Concept
I sketch out a basic idea and a basic color palette to start out with and send it for approval.
Finished Lines and Flat Colors
I refine the sketch to its final clean inking and add color, then send it for approval on colors and line quality. The expression and pose can still be refined at this point.
