What sets me apart from every other designer is the quality of the final product. If you examine my portfolio, you will see the illustrations I have created are better than anything else offered on Upwork. All other book designers create the elements individually (or worse, they use stock images from sites like Shutterstock), and then slap them together on a background. My designs are carefully crafted so that every single element is part of one grand design which results in a superior final product.
My design process creates a book cover which not only conveys the exact vision that the author has in mind, but the imagery is proportional and to scale. I take into consideration elements such as overall mood, the lighting, shadows, the time of day, and reflections off of glass and water.
I painstakingly strive to get the job done right on the very first attempt. My goal is to deliver a final product in the first round without the need for revisions. I want the author to be overjoyed and say "Dan, you nailed it!".
The key to achieving all of this is obtaining as much info from you as possible. As the old expression goes, "It's better to measure twice, and cut once."
