I have illustrated more than 200 children´s books in Denmark and abroad with great knowledge of the history of costume and architecture. I also enjoy creating from fantasy. I create strong characters, both people and animals.
My illustrations are often used to show difficult emotions. I have studied psychology which has helped me create even deeper characters. My style is often described as poetic, quirky, detailed and full of humor.
I have illustrated Hans Christian Andersen, The Arabian Nights and the stories of Baron von Münchhausen for publishers in Denmark, Norway and England.
